About The Position

As a Room Attendant - you'll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming' for our guests after a busy day at work - creating a haven for them to escape and relax in - or get a bit of last minute work done.

Requirements

• Physical fitness to be on feet most of the day.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms.
• Capability to bend and kneel for certain activities.
• Literacy skills including reading, writing, and basic math.
• Flexible attitude towards shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms are always at their best and memorable for guests.
• Assist guests with requests such as toothbrushes or directions.
• Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and alert them to any repairs needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when needed.
• Organize and manage supplies and amenities, minimizing waste.
• Reunite lost items with owners and log lost and found property.
• Maintain a smart appearance by wearing the uniform with pride.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities.
• Report and log all lost and found items according to procedures.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown duties as needed.
