About The Position

The Provider Compensation & Benefits Analyst supports the day-to-day administration of Bozeman Health's provider (physician and advance practice clinician) compensation plan(s) and Bozeman Health total rewards that are applicable to providers. The Analyst serves as a Human Resource contact for all compensation and benefit-related questions and coordinates with other Human Resources team members for employee questions related to those areas of expertise. Assists with periodic audits of compensation and wage-related data within HRIS, makes corrections/changes as needed with appropriate documentation and communication, and provides compensation-related reports as requested. Responsible for frequent, reliable, professional communication with leadership, individual providers and provider groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or health care administration; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Two (2) years of experience in human resources, compensation, or employee benefits, preferably in healthcare.
  • Three (3) years of Microsoft Office experience with advanced experience using Excel.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Certification from World at Work.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for provider compensation and benefit inquiries, providing clear and accurate information.
  • Collaborate with Provider Recruiting to support provider hiring and retention efforts, ensuring competitive, and attractive compensation packages.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to make necessary adjustments to HRIS for payroll accuracy, understanding physician compensation (wRVUs, FMV data, bonuses, etc.).
  • Review and compile historical data to establish trends, prepare reports and audits to determine accuracy of pay.
  • Work with provider operational and system leadership to navigate FTE, pay, and other changes.
  • Provide payroll oversight to ensure correct timekeeping, pay, benefits, etc.
  • Track and analyze provider compensation data, conducting audits to ensure compliance and consistency with Provider Compensation Program and term sheets.
  • Stay current on relevant compensation and benefit regulations, including those specific to healthcare providers, to help maintain compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to provider compensation and benefits.
