About The Position
CentraCare proudly serves as one of the premier health systems in Minnesota - and the largest rural health care provider in the state. The CentraCare Foundation mission is to engage the philanthropic community in a partnership to improve health and health care in our service area. We are in our most transformative time in our history as we are preparing for the largest philanthropic campaign since the Foundations inception in 1997 (26 yrs.), the $50 million dollar "Making Rural Lives Healthier" campaign. Reporting directly to the Director of Foundation & Campaign Development, the Prospect & Portfolio Research Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and directing a comprehensive prospect research and moves management program. The director will accurately identify new prospective donors, update information on existing donors and prospects, and gauge a prospect's capacity and propensity to make a meaningful impact through philanthropy at the CentraCare Foundation. The director will manage all processes associated with prospect management, including building and evaluating portfolios, and implementing methods that, through quantitative and qualitative means, assess and drive portfolio activity. The director will work collaboratively across the development team as a key strategy partner to contribute effectively toward fundraising goals. This position will also perform regular research on the major and principal gifts prospects and move prospects through the solicitation cycle based on interactions with major gift officers.
