About The Position

The Property Manager at Drucker and Falk LLC is responsible for overseeing all aspects of property operations, ensuring the property is well-maintained and financially stable. This role involves managing staff, handling leasing and financial transactions, and maintaining communication with residents and vendors. The Property Manager works under the direction of the Regional Property Manager and is expected to uphold company policies while fostering a positive living environment for residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in property management.
  • Knowledge of residential property management practices.
  • Strong organizational and verbal skills.
  • Proficient in customer service and sales skills.
  • Experience with Yardi software preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • ARM, CAM, RAM, or HCCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Train and supervise all staff members under their supervision.
  • Hire and terminate employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Perform written evaluations of employees and recommend salary increases or advancements.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and adhere to payroll policies.
  • Assist in leasing apartments and prepare, process, and sign all leases and related forms.
  • Assist in the collection of rents and handle delinquency matters.
  • Maintain records of all financial transactions for the property.
  • Adhere to accounting policies and prepare daily bank deposits.
  • Purchase necessary office supplies according to company policy.
  • Supervise outside contractors working on the property.
  • Handle details for move-ins and move-outs, including apartment inspections.
  • Ensure residents are provided with a clean, well-maintained community.
  • Work within the budget and notify the Regional Property Manager of any variations.
  • Resolve resident complaints and report emergencies immediately.
  • Ensure maintenance requests are handled promptly and residents are notified of delays.
  • Inspect property and improvements, recording deficiencies and taking necessary actions.
  • Establish schedules for routine maintenance and emergency coverage.
  • Perform all aspects of marketing the apartment community.
  • Work with the Regional Property Manager to prepare the annual operating budget.
  • Maintain communication with employees, residents, applicants, and vendors.
