Requirements

  • Ability to plan, control, integrate and lete engineering projects.
  • Ability to work with engineering program and produce designs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to gain a Top Secret.

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience.
  • Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).
  • Lean six-sigma experience.
  • Experience leading / integrating solutions for geographically disperse teams.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience with a combination of design, test, operations, and systems engineering disciplines.
  • Experience on a missile program.
  • Experience with missile design development and production program.
  • DOD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Familiarity with Navy Strategic System Partners (SSP) Customer.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and letion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
  • Plans and formulates engineering program.
  • Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, any standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
  • Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases.
  • Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling and resolving engineering design and test problems.
  • Support the Production Integrated Product Team (IPT) with related to production scope and execution & tracking.
  • Support coordination of planning, organizing, control, integration and letion of production IPT deliverables and work products within area of assigned responsibility.
  • Support coordination to closure of line stoppage program actions across Production IPT scope with program CPE's, supply chain and factory team.
