About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management & Communications Lead to support an Enterprise ERP implementation across multiple business units. This consulting role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive organizational change management strategies and communication plans that engage a broad set of stakeholders across multiple levels and ensure seamless information flow and adoption throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Finance, Accounting, HRIS, and Payroll systems implementations, ideally with experience in NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Integrity Data solutions. This position requires strong leadership to guide change management and communication resources and effectively coordinate change initiatives and messaging across various business units and team roles in support of rolling deployments and phases within deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management and communications roadmap that align with the ERP implementation goals and addresses the needs of various stakeholders (e.g. key milestones, activities, and timelines)
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans to ensure all affected parties are informed, involved, and supportive of the ERP implementation
  • Design and deliver change management training programs to prepare employees for new processes and systems, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed for successful adoption
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to leaders and managers to help them navigate the change process and effectively lead their teams through the transition
  • Conduct change impact assessments to identify the effects of the ERP implementation on different business units and roles, and develop mitigation plans to address these impacts
  • Facilitate change management workshops and focus groups to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster a culture of collaboration and openness
  • Monitor and measure change readiness and adoption rates, using surveys, interviews, and other tools to assess the effectiveness of change management efforts
  • Identify and address resistance to change by developing targeted interventions and communication strategies to overcome barriers and promote positive attitudes towards the ERP implementation
  • Develop and maintain change management documentation such as change impact assessments, training materials, communication plans, and progress reports
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for change management initiatives to measure success and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement a strategic communication plan for an Enterprise ERP implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs, and ensuring critical information and updates occur at a responsible pace
  • Lead and manage communications professionals to deliver consistent, timely, and effective project messaging across the organization
  • Craft clear and concise messaging to support initiative awareness, progress, change management, training initiatives, and stakeholder engagement efforts
  • Develop communication materials such as presentations, emails, reference cards, FAQs, and intranet content to support project activities
  • Monitor communication effectiveness and adapt strategies to enhance engagement, understanding, and adoption
  • Collaborate with the project management team to integrate change management activities with project plans, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving project objectives
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, and business leadership to align communication and change management strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in enterprise-level ERP implementation change management and communications, specifically within Finance, Accounting, HRIS, and Payroll environments
  • Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-wide change management and communication strategies
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor change management and communications professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information and change impacts to diverse audiences
  • Experience working in a multi-business unit company and navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

Nice-to-haves

  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in digital-adoption platforms supporting large-scale ERP transformation projects ideally in construction or in a field service-related industry.
  • Familiarity with best practices in enterprise technology change communication and management.
