About The Position

Our Advanced Technologies group is seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on projects that span a wide range of research area. The work will vary and encompass commercial, military, or medical technology projects. Innovation and technical problem solving will be a major part of your position along with the ability to work productively with a diverse team of researchers. Experience developing both hardware and software for embedded systems is highly desired.

Requirements

• Proven ability to self-manage across multiple projects as a contributing team member
• Proven ability to lead a small group of cross functional engineers on technical project
• Interest and experience spanning multiple technical disciplines to solve complex problems
• Experience in both analog and digital signal processing
• Experience in Control System design and modeling
• Experience in Audio Engineering and Acoustics
• Ability to model and analyze circuits and systems
• Experience in Schematic and PCB design (Altium expertise is a plus)
• Experience with embedded microcontrollers
• Experience with programming languages and embedded systems

• Take ownership of project success and maintain customer relationships
• Performing experiments in an independent & inventive manner
• Identify and manage project schedules and risks
• Documenting project progress
