About The Position
The Program Staff Water Safety Instructor teaches students life-saving skills in and around aquatic environments. This position involves greeting families as they arrive to the pool, demonstrating skills such as floats, glides, and strokes, and filling out cards to inform students of their pass/fail status. Instructors are also responsible for preparing equipment for classes, cleaning up after classes, and maintaining cleanliness in the facility, including the pool, pool area, and locker rooms. Attendance at staff meetings and trainings is required as needed.
