About The Position

As a Program Security Representative (PSR) II at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in providing multi-discipline security support for Special Access Programs (SAPs). Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with security policies, conducting facility compliance reviews, and providing day-to-day security support to safeguard sensitive information. This position is integral to advancing the mission and optimizing business strategy while ensuring the safety and security of operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience in security operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years).
• US Citizenship required.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance with willingness to submit to a CI polygraph.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with security policies/manuals and DCIDs/JAFANs.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact with DOD and military personnel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• High degree of originality, creativity, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-discipline security support for Special Access Programs (SAPs).
• Ensure strict adherence to NISPOM, its Supplement, DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy.
• Assist in developing and executing policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral data.
• Conduct continuous assessment of security procedures and recommend improvements.
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to operational activities.
• Develop, implement, and train on the Operations Security program.
• Provide oversight and assistance to contractors and subordinate facilities.
• Brief personnel on various security-related topics.
• Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews and follow-up actions.
• Monitor and report on corrective actions from compliance reviews.
• Notify management of pertinent security matters.
• Investigate any loss or compromise of classified information and conduct damage assessments.
