Product Manager - Platform

Embroker is seeking a product management leader with experience in enterprise products to deliver compelling and differentiated Commercial Insurance products. The role involves understanding the platform components, translating roadmap initiatives into suitable artifacts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and launching digital products. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of microservice architecture, customer experience, and the commercial insurance space. Additionally, they should have 5-7 years of enterprise software product management experience and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Knowledge of commercial insurance and experience with policy administration systems and digital insurance products is a plus.

• Understanding the design, business logic, and technical architecture of platform components and their interaction with the rest of the platform
• Owning the delivery of their component/feature
• Translating product roadmap initiatives and feature requests into models, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other suitable artifacts
• Collaborating with other PMs, Architects, UI/UX, and Team Leads to drive requirements through the design phase
• Familiarity with product management frameworks and agile development processes
• Understanding of microservice architecture
• Experience in launching digital products from 0-1
• Understanding of customer experience and its importance in product development
• Assisting in the development of a competitive landscape in the commercial insurance space
• Collaborating with teams in the US and Belgrade to launch products in the US
• Building relationships with other product managers and engineers
• Less than 5% travel in a year
• 5-7 years of enterprise software product management experience
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Some knowledge of commercial insurance, with a willingness to learn fast and support the team
• Experience with PAS (policy administration system) and digital insurance products is a plus
• Some experience working with geographically distributed teams
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced working environment with changes in approach.
