About the position
We are heycar, a company that is revolutionizing the car buying experience by connecting customers with trusted dealerships across the UK. With the support of global investors like Volkswagen, Allianz, and Renault, we provide customers with the confidence to purchase quality cars online. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in our cross-functional squad, working collaboratively with colleagues to define and deliver our product roadmap. With a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and drive positive changes in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Form part of a cross-functional squad focusing on a specific product area
- Collaborate with colleagues across product, design, and engineering to define and deliver roadmap
- Build with the customer foremost in mind and translate overall product vision into detailed product requirements
- Proactively ship and continuously use analytics to get feedback and iterate on features
- Own the team backlog, negotiate trade-offs, and actively manage change
- Serve as the key point of contact for product support in your area
- Work with ambiguity in a fast-paced way with an ideas-led, consultative approach
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and keep them well informed
- Have a deep understanding of the customer and engagement metrics
- Success with cross-functional teams: translating product vision into stories, coordinating design, assisting in estimation, identifying dependencies, negotiating and rationalizing trade-offs, ensuring high-quality, secure, and performant solutions
- Happy to come into the London office 1-2 times per week and open to occasional travel to offices in Paris and Berlin
- Experience working with engineering teams and translating business needs
Requirements
- Over one year of experience as a Product Manager on an agile team
- Able to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Ideas-led and consultative approach
- Comfortable making quick decisions
- Experience communicating with internal stakeholders
- Deep understanding of customer and engagement metrics
- Proven success with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to come into the London office 1-2 times per week
- Open to occasional travel to offices in Paris and Berlin
- Experience working with engineering teams and translating business needs
