About The Position

Cotality is seeking a Product Information Analyst to join our Strategic Pricing & Deal Desk team. This role is pivotal in transforming our sales experience from manual and complex to intuitive and automated, specifically through the implementation of Salesforce CPQ. As a Product Information Analyst, you will support our product master data management team, ensuring that our sales team can efficiently configure, price, and quote products. You will become a product data expert, optimize processes, and provide analytical support to enhance sales efficiency and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a data-related role (data analysis, data management, business analysis, or similar).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration (Finance, Economics or Data Analysis).
  • Strong Excel Skills: Comfortable with advanced Excel functions (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) and can use it to analyze and manipulate data effectively.
  • Process-Oriented Mindset: Ability to understand processes, identify bottlenecks, and think about improvements.
  • Analytical Curiosity: Strong problem-solving skills and quantitative aptitude.
  • Reporting Experience: Experience building reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate insights.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Excited to learn new technologies, systems, and business processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ or other CPQ systems.

Responsibilities

  • Become a Product Data Expert: Dive deep into our product catalog and become an expert in defining and maintaining product attributes within our master data system.
  • Design for Self-Service: Translate complex product configurations into clear, well-defined data structures that empower our sales team to self-serve through Salesforce CPQ.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve data quality, streamline data entry, and automate processes to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Build and maintain reports (ideally within Salesforce) to track data quality, identify trends, and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and Learn: Organize meetings and work closely with sales, product management, and other members of the Strategic Pricing & Deal Desk team to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
  • Contribute to Strategy: Provide analytical support for our Strategic Pricing & Deal Desk team, helping to inform important business decisions.
  • Create prototypes: Utilize Excel to map out proposed SKUs and pricing structures.
