About The Position

As a Process Engineer at Dealer Tire, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of the Supply Chain Solutions Project Portfolio. Your responsibilities will include project management, collaborating with various stakeholders, and enhancing supply chain processes. You will utilize tools like AutoCAD for designing warehouse layouts and leverage WMS systems to identify improvement opportunities. Your role will also involve developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations-focused roles, preferably in a distribution or warehouse environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects and managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Hands-on experience with process improvement initiatives, including the application of LEAN, 6S, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in developing, documenting, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Engineered Labor Standards.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills required.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Microsoft Office products required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) and WMS.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the Supply Chain Solutions Project Portfolio.
  • Lead and prioritize projects with minimal supervision, managing budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Systems SMEs, and other stakeholders to develop and execute implementation plans.
  • Design, evaluate, and improve supply chain processes to enhance capability and efficiency.
  • Partner with Sales, Program Management, IT, and other Supply Chain teams to support operational processes.
  • Utilize AutoCAD to design warehouse layouts that maximize space utilization and improve efficiency.
  • Leverage WMS system to identify opportunities for improvements in warehouse systems and layouts.
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Investigate and analyze system and operational issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Apply LEAN principles, 6S methodology, and process engineering techniques to drive improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and standards.

Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000
