About The Position

The Private Fleet Driver at Primo Water Corporation is responsible for the safe and reliable transport of Primo Water products to designated distribution points. This role involves operating a transport vehicle in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, managing inventory, and ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum two years' experience driving tractor/trailers OTR.
• Valid CDL Class A license with T & N Endorsements (if required).
• Ability to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration driver qualifications.
• Ability to safely lift up to 66 pounds.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer/data entry skills and proficiency in basic math skills.
• Ability to drive tractor/trailer in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Manual Transmission experience (may vary by location).
• Tanker driving experience (may vary by location).
• Snow chain driving experience (may be required for some locations).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate transport vehicle to deliver Primo Water products.
• Ensure vehicle compliance with all DOT laws and company standards.
• Understand load and freight weight requirements for transport.
• Operate forklift to unload and reload trailer with company products.
• Complete all required company and DOT documents and reports.
• Maintain cleanliness of the company vehicle.
• Manage and track inventory effectively.
• Secure product loads before and during transport.
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections.
