The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in advancing the company's BI strategy by leveraging their expertise in data analytics, data modeling, and business intelligence. The candidate will collaborate with a diverse set of teams to design, develop, and maintain data models and reports, ensure data quality and integrity, and contribute to the expansion of the company's overall BI strategy.

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data quality or system performance.
  • Identify and resolve data anomalies.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and best practices.
  • Participate in BI projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Assist with implementation of data governance policies, including data cataloging and data lineage.
  • Work with professionals to scale their semantic layer within the company's cloud enterprise data warehouse.
  • Engage and partner with outside consultants to achieve project deliverables where appropriate.
  • Operate within tight deadlines to deliver high quality code and report enhancements, fully documenting all work.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field with strong preference given to experiences within private equity/debt strategies and related industries.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and demonstrate high motivation with a strong customer service focus.
  • Flexible and able to operate within a fast-paced environment with multiple, shifting and overlapping priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical concepts/tools as needed and share knowledge with power users to enable independent operation and productivity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Detail oriented with outstanding quality assurance and testing skills.
  • Ability to report directly to a remote resource.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R.
  • Experience with Alteryx or Snowflake.
