About the position
The Solution Engineer (Pre-sales) role at Noodle.ai is a self-managing and independent position that requires a driven individual. The role involves partnering with the Sales Account Executive during the sales cycle to lead, assist, and coordinate various activities such as demonstrations, identifying customer challenges, assessing AI readiness, and developing proposals. The Solution Engineer will also build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and grow long-term relationships with customers and accounts. This role requires expertise in supply chain planning and familiarity with APS and ERP systems. The ideal candidate should have a track record of success in pre-sales consulting and strong domain knowledge in supply chain planning.
Responsibilities
- Be the ‘Swiss-Army Knife’ and partner to the Sales Account Executive during the middle of the sales cycle
- Lead, assist in, and/or coordinate demonstrations, customer challenge/pain point identification, Noodle solution fit/integration/business process, AI Readiness Assessments, Proof of concepts/Proof of value, Benefit Assessments and Business Case Development, Proposals, RFx responses, Solution Deployment Roadmaps
- Build rapport with stakeholders at all levels of seniority across customers and prospects
- Translate the value of market-leading technology into customers' own language of business value
- Grow long-term relationships with customers, accounts, and co-workers
- Work alongside a team of professionals in various fields
- Role model Noodle values, culture, and leadership practices
- Build cross-functional relationships
- Be conversant in supply chain planning, concurrent planning, advanced planning, inventory planning, demand forecasting, ERP, APS, IT Information Security & Risk, Data Science & Machine Learning, Operations Research, Management Science, new technology categories, program & project management, and presentation skills
- Have 4+ years of relevant experience in a pre-sales or solution engineering role
- Have a track record of success in pre-sales consulting, solution architect roles, and/or relevant operations/supply chain consulting
- Have strong domain knowledge of supply chain planning, including APS and ERP systems
- Have deep experience supporting enterprise sales cycles and leading product demonstrations for customer stakeholders
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to support the organization.
