The job overview for the Principal People Business Partner role at Checkr is to serve as a strategic thought partner and coach to key business leaders, aligning people and business strategies. Responsibilities
- Function as a thought partner and coach to key business leaders and their respective organizations
- Engage in business strategic planning to translate business needs into a people agenda and effective organizational design
- Lead company-wide programs and initiatives such as performance & compensation reviews, equity, organizational design, succession planning, engagement action planning, and organization health at the executive level
- Drive operational excellence and efficiency in People processes to enable the organization to hire and develop talent at scale and consistently in a high-performance culture
- Operate with humility and drive initiatives with the overall betterment of the team and company in mind
- Recognize cross-functional issues and proactively work to resolve them, having a company-wide impact
- Contribute expert knowledge in areas such as compensation, benefits, operations, and programs to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving
- Convey ideas, data, and recommendations clearly and concisely in written and verbal communications
- Demonstrate interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills
- Possess empathy and a high degree of emotional intelligence
- Comfortably deal with ambiguity and have a strong bias for action
- Think strategically and demonstrate strong judgment
- Maintain relentlessly high standards.
Requirements
