About The Position

The Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector office and the Human Services Auditing Division is recruiting for Principal Accountant/Auditors who perform the most complex professional accounting duties requiring preparation and interpretation of financial statements and reports; establishes new accounting procedures and controls; performs the most complex operational audits of departments, special districts, and programs; analyzes and advises management on a variety of fiscal matters. For more detailed information, refer to the Principal Accountant/Auditor job description. The resulting eligible list may be used to fill future vacancies throughout the County as they occur.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field with 30 semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in accounting.
• Three (3) years of professional-level auditing or accounting experience.
