About The Position

The practicum at the Center for Anxiety and OCD-Related Disorders (COARD) offers graduate students a nine-month clinical training experience in mental health. Students will engage in multidisciplinary care, focusing on intensive cognitive and behavioral treatments for patients with complex disorders. The program emphasizes hands-on experience under the supervision of licensed professionals, with opportunities to work with various mental health issues.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work, or another mental health discipline.
  • Availability for nine to ten hours per week during the practicum.

  • Interest in participating in research opportunities, although not required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer psychological interventions under the direction of licensed psychologists and mental health professionals.
  • Co-lead therapy groups and participate in group supervision and clinical rounds.
  • Conduct intake screenings for patients.
  • Attend and participate in continuing education programs provided at the Institute.
