Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification.
  • 2 years of management experience, including direct supervision of team members.

  • Excellent time management, follow-through, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the clinic, including scheduling staff shifts and managing clinic flow.
  • Manage, train, and develop direct reports, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain office staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Directly manage employees' timecards, PTO, sick time, and payroll review.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train employees to maintain staff.
  • Partner with the Chief of Operations to ensure staff training and performance meet expectations.
  • Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures.
  • Handle client complaints and concerns, resolving issues to maintain positive relationships.
  • Be on-call for the clinic and arrange coverage as needed.
  • Organize office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence and designing filing systems.
  • Manage inventory, pricing, purchasing, property management, and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Utilize creative marketing strategies to increase clientele and build the business.
  • Provide historical references for records management and controlled substances.
  • Maintain professional knowledge by training staff and attending educational workshops.
