About The Position

The Practice Manager at American Fork InstaCare is responsible for leading ambulatory care operations, ensuring excellence in patient and caregiver safety, quality assurance, patient experience, and financial stewardship. This role involves managing a team of caregivers and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) across multiple clinics, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Requirements

• Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization and influencing non-direct reports.
• Effective communication and interpersonal relations skills.
• Ability to direct, supervise, and coach front office staff.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in word-processing and spreadsheets.
• Problem-solving skills to address issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients.
• Experience managing a department budget.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership for ambulatory care operations.
• Create a culture of accountability and teamwork among staff.
• Oversee patient and caregiver safety and quality assurance of care.
• Manage financial stewardship, including budget management.
• Make employment decisions such as hiring and performance evaluations.
• Support ancillary services like human resources and information systems.
• Collaborate with 5 to 13 Physicians and/or APPs and 12-30 Caregivers across 1 to 4 clinics.
• Lead and develop up to 3 direct reports.
