About The Position

The role involves creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and SQL, with a focus on accurate financial data representation and analysis. The developer will leverage advanced analytics techniques and collaborate with various teams to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of BI Technology Stacks (Microsoft), Software Engineering principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Reporting, Analytics, and Data Visualization Solutions (Power BI, Reporting Services).
• Experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Power BI).
• Experience in end-to-end BI and Data Engineering solutions.
• Ability to work with various data sources (Analysis Services, SQL Server, Excel, Flat files).
• Proficiency in DAX language.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Power BI AI/ML features (e.g., anomaly detection, forecasting, clustering).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly EPIC framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, data engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.
• Ensure data accuracy through validation and reconciliation.
• Optimize Power BI models and reports for performance and scalability.
• Develop and implement data security measures.
• Provide training and support to end-users.
• Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Power BI, Excel, SQL, and accounting standards.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including EPIC planning and execution.
• Use SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
