Brief Overview of Position The Portfolio Manager II role is positioned within Credit Administration and is integral to the success of each line of business it supports, helping to drive the strategic vision set forth by Texas Capital Bank. This position will support the Homebuilder and Community Finance line of business within the bank. The Portfolio Manager owns the underwriting process for all credit requests, working closely with Analysts, Associates, and Relationship Managers to determine and evaluate potential risks and identify cross-sell opportunities. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for maximizing portfolio performance and is expected to have the ability to lead a deal from opportunity to close with little to no oversight. Responsibilities include monitoring the portfolio quality against established criteria and recommending adjustments to existing credit facilities as appropriate. The Portfolio Manager provides efficient follow-up and spearheads processes to ensure best-in-class Customer Service while serving as an internal consultant and liaison between Credit and the Line of Business.
