Requirements

• Florida Bar License: The candidate must possess a license in good standing to practice law in the state of Florida.
• Ability to manage a large efficiently and active caseload from filing through verdict.
• Must be a self-starter and goal-oriented with a focus on long-term career goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders, including investigators, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and clients.
• A strong courtroom presence and eagerness to try cases.
• Competent and proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to draft and review substantive pleadings and motions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Personal Injury law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large and active caseload from filing through verdict.
• Maintain a client-focused practice.
• Assemble and organize information gathered during discovery for presentation at trial.
• Draft and review substantive pleadings and motions.
• Respond to motions and discovery; attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients.
