About The Position

This position is for a Physician in the Federal sector, specifically in locations such as Chinle, AZ; Kayenta, AZ; Pinon, AZ; Red Mesa, AZ; Tsaile, AZ; Bloomfield, NM; Crownpoint, NM; Gallup, NM; Shiprock, NM; and Tohatchi, NM. The role requires a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Candidates must have a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician and at least one year of supervised clinical experience. The position is open from February 10, 2025, to January 31, 2026.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited school.
  • Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician.
  • At least 1 year of supervised experience in a clinical setting.
  • Board Certified in the specialty to which the applicant is applying or actively pursuing Board Certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Internal Medicine or related specialty.
  • Fellowship training in a relevant medical specialty.
  • Previous experience working in a Federal healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a clinical setting.
  • Supervise and train medical interns and residents.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
