About The Position

Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent Fishers is seeking an endocrinologist to join their established practice located at 12708 East 116th Street in Fishers, Indiana. The practice currently has a full-time endocrinologist and offers excellent colleague support and mentoring from established physician partners, making it a great opportunity for both recent graduates and experienced physicians. The call schedule is currently 1:4 and will transition to 1:5 with the new hire, with calls typically coming from patients or occasionally from other physicians. The practice boasts a supportive medical community, administration, and staff, ensuring an excellent work/life balance with low frequency and low volume call. The position also offers opportunities for physician leadership within Ascension and is open to H1-B candidates and recent graduates.

Requirements

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in endocrinology practice.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Athena.

Responsibilities

• Provide endocrinology services to patients in the Fishers, Indiana area.
• Participate in a call schedule currently set at 1:4, transitioning to 1:5 with a new hire.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers in the practice for patient care.
• Mentor and support new physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Engage in community outreach and patient education.
