About The Position

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Reimbursement Specialist to coordinate the reimbursement of pharmaceuticals in the patient assistance program. This role supports the organization's objectives of quality customer service by processing necessary documentation to provide medically necessary medication at no cost to indigent and needy patients. Responsibilities include the request, completion, and submission of required forms from various pharmaceutical companies, conducting research to determine eligibility requirements for pharmaceutical products, and analyzing reports to assess patient eligibility. The specialist will also establish and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and vendor representatives to ensure continuous customer service and follow-up. The estimated pay range for this position is $22.20 - $28.86 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (Cert, GED, Trn, Exper).
• PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Critical thinking skills and effective communication abilities.
• Decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action when required.
