About The Position

Assists pharmacists and technicians by performing duties that support the practice of pharmacy under state and federal statutes. Elm Street Pharmacy is a community pharmacy located next to Albany General Hospital. The pharmacy is open to any member of the public. The primary role of this pharmacy is to dispense community patient prescriptions. They also offer immunizations, medication management services, Hospice prescriptions, and medication assistance programs. The pharmacy is staffed by experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are dedicated to patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience and/or training working with numbers required.
• Experience and/or training in typing skills and computer applications required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• All job offers are contingent upon the candidate passing a pre-employment/post offer drug screen.
