About The Position

The Zafran Law Group is seeking an experienced full-time Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Philadelphia. This role is essential for managing the pre-litigation process for personal injury cases, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and organized efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and will be responsible for interacting with clients, insurance carriers, and medical providers to facilitate the claims process.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of Personal Injury, pre-litigation experience preferred
• High school or equivalent education required
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office required
• 2 years of experience in personal injury law required

Responsibilities

• Speaking to new leads
• Reviewing files received from referring attorneys
• Gathering information for new cases
• Entering new case information into case management system
• Opening claims with insurance carriers
• Requesting police reports, deeds and insurance documents
• Preparing letters to insurance carriers, tortfeasors and medical providers
• Working directly with clients answering questions and for needed paperwork
• Working with the medical records team to follow up on treatment status
