About the position
This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity to join Google DeepMind's People & Culture Partnering team. The role involves supporting certain members of the leadership and management team, building strong relationships, and providing guidance to enable leaders and managers to perform and grow in their roles. The People & Culture Partners also contribute to projects that support the organization's culture and wider goals.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted and effective relationships with leaders, managers, and teams across the business.
- Building manager and leadership capability through effective partnership, coaching, and advice on a range of people matters.
- Actively support leaders and managers to effectively manage and communicate changes while maintaining high performance.
- Working with leaders and managers to build and cultivate successful teams aligned to Google DeepMind's culture and values.
- Developing a deep understanding of the work, people, and priorities of the teams you partner with.
- Acting as the conduit for leaders and managers with other parts of the People & Culture team (e.g. Talent, Reward, Org Development) as they look to manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
- Owning and delivering on key cyclical activities (Promotions, Evaluation, Talent Discussions, Comp Planning) aimed at driving team performance throughout the employment lifecycle.
