About the position
Patreon is seeking a People Data Analyst to support their mission of building a content and community platform for creators. The role involves partnering with the HR team and business leaders to develop and manage the company's people analytics strategy, as well as optimizing data dashboards and providing actionable insights. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Partner with the HR team and business leaders to understand their needs and goals for people analytics.
- Develop and manage the company's people analytics strategy and reporting framework.
- Design, develop, and maintain a data governance model.
- Optimize or build automated dashboards to empower stakeholders to self-serve their data and analytical needs.
- Use a broad set of analytical tools and techniques to tell compelling stories with data.
- Turn analysis into actionable data-driven insights and make business recommendations that support the company's strategic talent objectives.
- Partner with the PBPs to plan and deliver the engagement survey.
- Partner with PBPs to plan performance review and give input on assessment criteria.
- Drive data-driven people decisions and mindset across the company, starting with the HR team.
- Educate and empower HR teams with advanced analytic methods and insights.
- Conduct research on trends, benchmarks, and best practices to drive the company's long-term talent strategy and effectiveness.
- Identify any data discrepancies and oversee data hygiene for people analytics to ensure accuracy and clean data.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in people analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics/Analytics or other quantitative fields of study preferred
- Meticulous mindset on data and ability to question methodology
- Experience with a variety of data analysis tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong background in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, potentially having used multiple visualization tools
