If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Part-time Porter at our affordable housing community in Bridgeport CT.

Requirements

• At least 1 year experience as a building porter, cleaner, or groundskeeper.
• Able to work emergency on-call rotation as needed.
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform upkeep and janitorial duties so that your property is always in great condition, demonstrating pride in your building and grounds.
• Learn new skills and work closely with the maintenance team on small repairs and preventative activities.
• Engage in minor maintenance work in coordination with building maintenance team.
• Assist in preparation of vacant units with maintenance team.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents while performing job duties.
• Inspect property and equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform snow removal and/or landscaping as needed.
• Maintain building supplies and inventory in proper condition.
• Communicate with management to address safety concerns as needed.
• Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.
