About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team at BrightStar Care of Provo. This part-time position involves providing high-quality infusion therapy and patient care in a fast-paced environment, requiring a strong understanding of internal medicine and acute pain management. The RN will ensure patient safety and comfort during infusion treatments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to infusion therapy.
• Proficiency in IV insertion techniques and related procedures.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment as needed for care delivery.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Previous experience in infusion therapy or emergency room.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Administer intravenous (IV) infusions and medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after infusion therapy.
• Provide airway management and acute pain management as necessary.
• Perform sterile processing of equipment to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in the treatment of patients, particularly those with complex medical needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to infusion therapies.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care post-infusion.
