About The Position

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in the Department of Software Engineering & Game Development for the academic year 2024-2025. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Software Engineering or a closely related discipline is required to teach undergraduate courses.
• A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in Software Engineering is required to teach undergraduate courses.
• A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Software Engineering or a related discipline is required to teach graduate courses.

Nice To Haves

• Previous successful experience teaching software engineering
• Development of software products

Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Software Engineering.
