About The Position

The Department of History, Philosophy, and Religious Studies at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach undergraduate courses in History. These are in-person courses at our Richmond, Kentucky campus. Candidates must possess a master's degree in history. Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs. Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at the time of application. Official transcripts are required at the time of the position offer and as a condition of employment.

Requirements

• Earned M.A. in History from an accredited institution at the time of appointment

• College teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned at the times and in the locations necessary to meet the needs of EKU students
