About The Position
The Park Maintenance Worker-II serves as a Lead employee in each work crew that is assigned to a Park Maintenance Supervisor. This Lead directs, guides, trains, and develops crew members, whether or not a Supervisor is present, while also performing all aspects of Park or Facility maintenance. Workers, either permanent staff or temporary, may be assigned to a Lead on an as-needed basis depending on the size or complexity of tasks necessary to maintain an assigned park area. However, a Park Maintenance Worker-II may be assigned individual responsibility for Park or Facility area without being Leader or part of a crew. This is a Safety Sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.
