This position is responsible for developing P&ID’s designs that satisfies contract and schedule requirements for water treatment facilities in the United States.
Responsibilities
Must have direct experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D P&ID
Must have direct knowledge of ISA 5.1, understands processes, pumps, motors, instruments, valves
Additional knowledge of control panels, HMIs, PLCs would be a benefit as well
Must know the ins and outs of the software package, knows it inside and out
A middle ground person would be a process or instrumentation person
Understanding of P&ID symbology and design philosophies and ability to perform P&ID layouts in 3D environment per applicable ASME codes and standards
Develops P&ID design in automated databases models relating the information on the P&ID design drawings
Must have ability to extract and develop drawings/documents for General Arrangement and P&ID’s drawings for field and construction
Should be strong enough to perform the modeling of all the disciplines
Coordinate with customer and Engineering Team
Interact with other design disciplines daily to resolve issues; review and provide comments on engineering related documents; understand design interface activities
Meet Schedule requirements for engineering deliverables to ensure project schedules are met
Work from our office in Norcross, GA
Travel is less than 10%
Requirements
Associate degree/bachelor’s degree
10+ years of design experience by using AutoCAD Plant 3D P&ID
5+ years of relevant experience actively using of AutoCAD Plant 3D P&ID
