About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months driving experience; 1 year preferred.

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers, with no automatic restrictions.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and handle receipts.
• Ability to read maps and road signs and maintain driving logs.
• Detailed knowledge of and compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Must meet DOT physical qualifications and pass alcohol and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Manage the loading and unloading of cargo.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of transport documents, especially for hazardous materials.
• Report any incidents or delays during transport.
