About The Position
The Sports Medicine Physician is responsible for providing specialized musculoskeletal and non-operative orthopedic care to a diverse population—from student athletes/recreational athletes to active adult orthopedic patients in an office environment. Works according to Maine State Rules and Regulations following established Policies and Procedures as required and within established scope of practice. Must be a friendly, energetic and team-oriented person looking for a long-term commitment. Proficient use of an EMR system, excellent communications skills. The ideal candidate must be able to provide high quality care to orthopedic patients and be independent to make decisions.
