About The Position

As a Technical Support & Sales Representative at Asurion, you will be responsible for evaluating and troubleshooting customer concerns, identifying technical issues, and deploying solutions with efficient, clear, courteous, and accurate communication. You will utilize call center technology to input, track, and report customer issues while meeting goals and growing from feedback and coaching. The role involves selling Asurion smart home and other products on every call, directly connected to the Serve, Solve, Sell incentives. You will spend 4-8 hours daily working at a computer in a call center environment, which may have high noise levels, and you will be using a headset 90% of the time. When needed, you will escalate calls appropriately.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High school Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to achieve sales and customer experience goals and objectives
  • Competence to retain knowledge and solve customer concerns
  • Strong attention to detail while multitasking with speed and accuracy
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the customer, the business, and your team
  • Reliable track record of attendance and performance
  • Computer literacy and ability to type 25-35 words per minute
  • A passing hiring assessment (soft skill scenario modeling and product knowledge)
  • Existing knowledge of multiple hardware platforms and operating systems, or willingness to learn
