About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Froedtert Bluemound Rehabilitation Hospital involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a primarily adult patient population with various rehabilitation needs, including neurological and spinal cord injuries. This role emphasizes clinical competence and the ability to work within specialized units designed for stroke recovery and brain injury care.

Requirements

• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC.
• Completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or an approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.
• Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation nursing or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs in an inpatient rehabilitation environment.
• Plan and implement nursing care for patients with various rehabilitation conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and rehabilitation processes.
