About The Position

The Operations Manager: Parking, Field Ops & Shuttles is responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities and staff supervision related to parking enforcement, field operations, fleet detailing, and campus shuttle programs. This role serves as the primary contact for after-hours service support, ensuring compliance with operational standards and providing strategic planning to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 1 year work-related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial responsibilities
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to obtain an Underground Storage Tank (UST) Class C Operator Certification within 30 days of employment
  • Complex understanding of Federal Transit Administration (FTA), DOT Operator & CDL status, & ADA parking requirements within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement day-to-day operational activities for parking enforcement and shuttle programs.
  • Supervise and manage a team of full-time and part-time staff, ensuring adherence to service guidelines and operational procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours service support and resolution for assigned programs.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee personnel and equipment resources to maintain operating standards.
  • Compile operational records and maintain equipment inventories for management programs.
  • Participate in the recommendation and implementation of operational procedures and train personnel on changes.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and university operating requirements for parking and shuttle operations.
  • Provide strategic planning and special project support to enhance operational efficiency.
