The Licensed Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment to patients. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor and report the patient’s progress. The OT performs occupational therapy treatment on a one-to-one or group basis for patients with orthopedic, neurological and other physically disabling impairments. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching. The OT will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
