Requirements

• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire (on-site training provided).
• Complete the Nursing Assistant course and pass the written and skills competency exams within 180 days of hire (on-site preparation available if needed).
• Achieve placement on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, feeding, mobility support, and care of patients recovering from various health conditions.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols meticulously.
• Learn to operate medical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and communicate effectively to update patient conditions and needs.
• Handle additional duties like running errands and stocking supplies within the healthcare environment.
