About The Position

As a Nurse - RN, you will be part of a team that assesses clients' mental and physical health and develops treatment plans. You will consult with psychiatrists and other health professionals as well as manage medications. The role involves coordinating care with outside providers to assist in a long-term plan for obtaining medications and maintaining care in the community for both mental and physical health. You will safely store and handle medications and ensure the proper documentation is completed. Additionally, you will provide medication support services, which ensure optimal outcomes for your clients, and administer long-acting psychotropic medications.

Requirements

  • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ability to physically and mentally assist in emergency situations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Ability to pass criminal/background clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with a mental health population, especially with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required.
