This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets.   • Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, local regulations, OSHA and EPA requirements.
  • Manages, prioritizes, coordinates and assigns the daily activities of the NPC / MDC staff.
  • Oversees and insures all company policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Interviews, hires, provides training and conducts performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Assists in the training of employees such as Forklift training, ISO policies, housekeeping and safety procedures.
  • Provides support, direction and coaching to subordinate employees in the areas of disciplinary action and problem resolution.
  • Ability to apply advanced LEAN concepts to foster an environment of continuous improvement in the culture (EOS, iVALA).
  • Assists with planning and development of departmental budgets and strives to achieve Budgetary objectives.
  • Responsible for managing overall inventory control procedures to conform to required protocols.
  • Knowledge of applicable effective ISO standard(s) experience helpful.
  • Knowledge of Hazmat specification helpful.
  • Willingness and ability to lead, supervise and train.
  • C-TPAT competency and oversight.
  • Knowledge of UL requirements for battery specifications.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations for over-the-road shipments.
  • Experience with Baan and SAP.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and/or 6 years of Supply Chain experience.
