About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and provide direction to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflict and address root cause issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for informed decision-making.
• Ability to consult with customers on all areas pertaining to their department.
• Ability to lead a safe working environment and mentor team members.

• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customers receive outstanding service through the checkout lanes.
• Greets customers entering the store and responds promptly to customer needs.
• Assists in overseeing the accurate and efficient operation of all cash registers.
• Receives payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards, or automatic debits.
• Operates cash register by scanning items and displaying costs on the monitor screen.
• Maintains clean and orderly checkout areas, ensuring no personal items are present.
• Completes all Point of Sale (POS) transactions and maintains proper cash control.
• Models exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service.
• Reviews Customer Survey and customer feedback from previous days or weeks.
• Prepares, packages, stocks store and display merchandise appropriately.
• Ensures compliance with price changes and food safety regulations.
• Orders manual items and stocks, rotates, and merchandises products according to department procedures.
• Removes inferior or out-of-code products from display.
• Ensures all products are accurately priced and sales prices are maintained.
• Provides consultation to customers regarding consumer products.
• Executes ad set compliance including signage.
• Meets or exceeds sales floor condition expectations in the respective department.
• Promotes a safe work environment.
• Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
