About The Position

This remote position is responsible for leading the development and support of the Bank's network infrastructure. The role serves as a technical resource for project planning and problem resolution, presenting reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-effective technical solutions to management. The position involves collaboration across the organization and provides consultative guidance to associates and management through expertise in multiple technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Installation and support of complex systems OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Installation and support of complex systems.
  • Experience in Large Enterprise Network Design and Support.
  • Proficiency in Advanced Routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VRF).
  • Experience with Cloud Connectivity/Cloud Networking.
  • Knowledge of Cisco ACI / Leaf and Spine SDN technology.
  • Experience with Enterprise Cisco Viptela SD-WAN.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Aruba/Cisco Wireless.

Responsibilities

  • Provides consultative direction and technical advice relating to the Bank's network infrastructure, addressing reliability, availability, scalability, security, and recovery.
  • Evaluates the performance of existing and proposed system components in delivering solutions for technology, operations, and business needs.
  • Analyzes hardware platforms, operating systems, applications, and network components, providing key insight into new system software, hardware, and network integration.
  • Implements, upgrades, and supports network hardware and software, coordinating new technologies that require network communication.
  • Performs planning and documentation throughout support activities, resolving complex technical problems and automating tasks for improved efficiencies.
  • Maintains a strong knowledge base to effectively consult and direct others on technical matters, communicating effective and clear technical information across platforms.
