About The Position
The position involves providing assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists, and administrative staff to ensure optimal MRI safety and patient care. Responsibilities include conveying patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assisting MRI Technologists with coil positioning, patient screening, and observation during exams. The role also requires supporting technologists with procedures, including the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and clean-up of the MRI suite. Additionally, the position demands competency in safeguarding patient property and health information, as well as medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Professional behavior towards patients and coworkers is essential, along with respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities. The ability to interact diplomatically and maintain cooperative working relationships is also crucial.
