About The Position

The MRI System Consultant will serve as a liaison between a commercial property management firm and the system integrator for the implementation of MRI Software. This role is crucial for ensuring effective communication of business requirements and providing guidance on financial processes and system functionality. The position is contract-based, fully remote, and is expected to last for approximately 6 months.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in finance systems implementation projects, ideally with MRI Software or similar platforms.
  • Background in commercial property management or real estate is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of property management accounting and financial workflows.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with finance systems and data migration processes; experience coordinating with system integrators is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and the system integrator to define project goals, scope, and timelines for the MRI implementation.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and ensure these are clearly communicated to the system integrator.
  • Analyze existing financial and operational workflows to identify changes needed to align with MRI's capabilities and best practices.
  • Partner with internal teams and the system integrator to oversee data migration, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the implementation.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation to confirm the system meets business needs and resolves any issues with the system integrator.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training materials and sessions to ensure staff readiness and adoption of the new system.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders to escalate and resolve implementation challenges with the system integrator.
  • Support internal teams during the transition period, helping refine processes and optimize system utilization.
